Are you looking for a new activity – or to come back to something that you maybe did a few years ago – then Scottish country dancing may be just the thing!

Reading St Andrew’s Scottish Dancing Society runs classes on a Tuesday evening which are suitable for people who have never done any Scottish country dancing. It is fun and sociable. You do not need a partner, but of course are welcome to bring one!

Come and try it – your first class is free! Classes will restart on 3 September 2019.

Don’t worry if you do not have dancing shoes just come with a pair of soft shoes or light trainers. Layers of clothing are a good idea as you may get warm! You will need to be able to move freely so dress accordingly.

Classes are held from 8.00pm till 10pm in the lower hall of St Andrews United Reformed Church, Reading, Berkshire, UK – RG1 5BD  – (enter from the car park in Craven Road at the door furthest from the road).

Click here for the Beginners class page where cribs (brief instructions) for the dances likely to be done during each month are posted.
